Consumer ISP EarthLink shifted to enterprise networks as consumers moved to broadband. I supported this transformation by writing, editing and concepting content and refined messaging. Our focus was the importance of connectivity to a superior CX in an anytime, anywhere, cloud-connected world.
EarthLink's shift to the enterprise was well-timed. Our launch and success in managed SD-WAN in particular led to a rapid rise in perceptual value, leading to a $1B+ acquisition by Windstream. I joined the new company and played a key role, capitalizing on that momentum to create the Windstream Enterprise (WE) brand. As well as the eventual divesture of consumer services which operate today under the original EarthLink brand.
